Understanding the connection between baryonic matter and dark matter in galaxies requires large, homogeneous samples of rotation curves paired with deep photometry. PROBES-I assembles such a compendium, providing the community with a benchmark dataset for testing galaxy mass models and scaling relations across a wide range of morphologies and environments.
