During my PhD at Queen’s University I served as coordinator of the Queen’s Observatory, running a range of public outreach programmes.
Fast Radio Bursts Podcast — A series exploring current astronomy topics through researcher interviews, making cutting-edge science accessible to general audiences.
Open House Talks — Recorded presentations posted to YouTube so anyone could access them regardless of location or schedule.
Percy Goes to Mars — A livestream event for the Perseverance rover landing that drew over 700 viewers.
Science Rendezvous 2022 — Organised 15 volunteers running 9 hands-on activities at this annual public science festival. Received the Outstanding Volunteer recognition.
Virtual School Tours — Group tours for classes and summer camps across grade levels, adapted for remote delivery.
